Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting Fabricator Welders for permanent positions based with our client in Rotherham. Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
Rates of pay are £19.13 - £22.60 per hour (depending on experience).
Shifts Available:
- Mornings - Monday- Thursday- 6am 2 pm
- Afternoon - Monday to Thursday - 2pm 10pm
- Nights - Monday to Friday - 10pm 6am
- Weekends Friday to Sunday 3 x 12 hours 6am 6pm
About The Role:
- Perform welding activities on carbon steel, armour steel, aluminium.
- Weld various joint configurations in all positions.
- Ensure equipment parameters are set to the optimum to fully satisfy weld quality, integrity, and WPS requirements.
- Review engineering drawings for parts to be welded.
- Working to tolerances on fabrication drawings.
- Satisfy production schedules to the correct quality level and within the specified time scale.
- Carry out and record the daily / weekly / monthly maintenance checks and record the necessary safety checks.
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts.
NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
