Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for a Production Manager for a permanent position based with our client in Hull. Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience).
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all manufacturing activities within the steel fabrication workshop, specializing in pressure vessels, piping systems, casings, and custom mechanical components. The role ensures production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in full compliance with quality standards such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, API, and ISO 9001.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in steel fabrication workshop operations.
- Minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pressure vessel fabrication
- Piping spool fabrication
- Structural and casing fabrication
- Welding processes and metallurgy
