Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for Instrument Pipefitters for a permanent position with our client based in Ossett. Immediate start available (subject to Interview process).

Basic Salary (37 hours) £36,750 per annum. Monday to Saturday, any overtime above 37 hours is paid at 1.4 x hourly rate. Sundays are paid at 1.8 x hourly rate.

This role will be based in the UK but travel internationally and offshore will be required either as an individual or as part of a team. Duties will include spool fabrication using mechanical forming techniques as well as pressure testing and flushing. Training on our client's products, systems and equipment will be provided.

All candidates would be expected to work both in the workshop in Sunderland and work away on various projects of varying durations. Weekend working is required at times both in the workshop and onsite.

  • Must have a good understanding of engineering drawings and standards.
  • Proven experience of metric compression/formed pipe work, twin ferrule pipe work, 37° flared flange and JIC 37° flared pipe work would be preferred.
  • The ability to read and understand hydraulic circuits would be advantageous.
  • Experience of pressure testing and hot oil flushing experience would be advantageous.
  • Available to work overtime & weekends when required is a must.
  • Have good communication skills and a good understanding of H&S requirements through industry.
  • A full UK driving licence is required.
  • Forklift truck licence would be advantageous.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Comfortable working outside in all elements of weather when required.
  • Have a professional attitude.
  • SBT training, experience of using hand benders and MJI 10 would be preferred but not essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting must be sent over to be considered.
