On-Call Electrical Engineer

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for an On-Call Electrical Engineer at our client s site in Leeds. This is a permanent position. Salary is 41.298.40 per annum as well as a call out allowance. This is a day position, working 40 hours per week. This is flexible it can either be: 6:00am to 2:00pm 7:00am to 3:00pm 8:00am to 4:00pm However, there is an element of flexibility required for this role and as such these may change from time to time to suit factory needs. In addition, you will be required to be on call one week in four. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader and working within a small team, the role is responsible for the provision of an on-call service to rectify and eliminate equipment faults and failures and minimise machine downtime, via a committed rota (one week in four), covering 365 days per year. This on-call provision will commence after familiarisation of the site and machinery. Full electrical qualifications must be sent across before commencing this position. Previous knowledge of working within a glass manufacture plant and/or 24-hour process environment would be an advantage, however, not essential.
