Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for a CNC Machinist for a permanent position based with our client on Irvine. Immediate start available (subject to interview process).
Salary is £47,817.63 per annum - inclusive of shift allowance. This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are:
- Days: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
- Night shift: Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship CNC Machining.
- Experience of medium to heavy components, must be competent in setting & programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
- Experience of operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining centres or Mill Turns.
- Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
