Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for a CNC Machinist for a permanent position based with our client on Irvine. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £47,817.63 per annum - inclusive of shift allowance.

This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are:

  • Days: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
  • Night shift: Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship CNC Machining Experience of medium to heavy components, must be competent in setting & programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
  • Experience of operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining centres or Mill Turns.
  • Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
