Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for a permanent position based with our clients in Leeds. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience). This will be working 36.5 hours per week, 4 day working week. Working hours are Monday to Wednesday 7am - 4:45pm and Thursday 7am to 4:15pm.
Job Specification Day to Day:
- Responsible for setting and operating CNC mill and turning machines
- Ensure tight tolerances on a range of machinery
- Achieve manufacturing hours and deadlines to meet the customers' needs
- Completion of inspection using Renishaw probe and various hand measuring devices
- Adherence to all Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Ensure high levels of quality and workmanship are maintained
- Support other departments in the manufacture of products
- Carry out basic machine maintenance including metal working fluid checks and pre-use safety checks
- Complete paperwork to maintain complete traceability
- Work in line with the companies Quality manuals and MOD standards
- Edit CNC programmes using Heidenhain, Siemens or Haas control for machining centres
Essential Requirements:
- Apprentice trained as minimum
- Competent using Heidenhein iTNC 640 & Hass G-code control system
- Various materials including carbon steel and stainless steel
- Manufacturing to engineering drawings
