Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Scunthorpe. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Salary is £46,000 to £51,000 per annum (depending on experience). This will be working days Monday to Friday.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will lead a group of team leaders and craft persons made up of both internal employees and contractors. You will play a vital role in keeping our assets running safely, reliably, and efficiently through involvement in maintaining critical plant infrastructure.

You will support a range of engineering activities, including:

  • Maintenance planning and execution working closely with plant teams to ensure safe, cost-effective engineering support.
  • Plant performance and reliability improvements, identifying areas for enhancement and delivering practical solutions.
  • Breakdown rectification to minimise delays and production losses.
  • Project involvement, from design and technical submissions through to installation and commissioning of capital works.
  • Safety-first mindset, ensuring all activities align with our rigorous safety standards.
