Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting for Electrical Fitters for a permanent position based with our client in Nottinghamshire. Immediate start available (subject to interview process). Rate of Pay is £17.44 per hour. Working 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30am or 8:30am to 4:00pm or 5:00pm and Fridays 7:30am or 8:30am to 11:45am or 12:45pm.
You will be responsible for the assembly of copperwork, wiring, basic testing, installation and site erection of the company's wide product range.
- To adhere to the Works File information.
- To refer to and follow the Company Engineering and Test Standards where appropriate.
- To remain on the job in a productive role.
- To assist Team Leaders and Production team.
- To assist the team to correctly interpret drawings as required.
- To give guidance and support to sub-contractors.
- To discuss opportunities in increase productivity with the Team Leaders.
- To inform Team Leaders of any urgently required parts.
- To inform Team Leaders of any concerns regarding parts/build/equipment.
- To effectively maintain the tidiness, safety and cleanliness of the work areas.
Working closely with the Production Team, including the Production Managers, Team Leaders, Assembly Fitters, Materials Controllers, other Works Operatives and in addition, the Applications Engineers and Engineering Director at all times. Attend meetings as required/requested. Responsibility for complying with and implementing the Business management system with their level of activity.
Must have a Level 3 Electrical Diploma and must have previous experience in a similar role and must be evident on CV.
