Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are looking for a Document Controller for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield.
Immediate start available (Subject to interview process) Salary circa 30,000 per annum, (depending on experience) The successful candidate will play a key role in controlling engineering documentation, maintaining quality records, and supporting the business in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all engineering, fabrication and quality documentation.
Ensure documentation is accurately controlled, updated and distributed to the relevant departments.
Maintain revision control for drawings, procedures, specifications and manufacturing records.
Prepare and compile manufacturing record books (MRBs), quality dossiers and handover documentation for customers.
Support production, engineering and quality teams with document control processes.
Ensure all documentation complies with customer specifications and company procedures.
Assist with internal and external ISO 9001 audits.
Maintain records relating to inspections, material certificates, welding documentation and quality reports.
Archive completed project documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments regarding documentation requirements.
