We are supporting a leading contracting business in the search for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Technical Services team. This is a permanent role, primarily based between Greenwich and Canary Wharf.

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch) - flexible according to business needs
Location: Greenwich and Canary Wharf
Salary: Dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
- Developing strong client relationships and providing trusted technical advice.
- Assisting with the assessment of new projects and supporting fee proposals.
- Producing, reviewing, and approving mechanical working drawings and technical submittals from Stage 5 onwards.
- Carrying out mechanical calculations and delivering design solutions from initial brief to detailed design.
- Monitoring on-site construction work to ensure compliance with design standards and company quality requirements.
- Leading testing and commissioning activities, including ISTs and Black Building Tests.
- Conducting technical evaluations of existing buildings to inform short- and long-term mechanical strategies, including:
- Energy performance assessments
- Load and capacity reviews
- Life cycle replacement reports
- Single point of failure (SPOF) analysis
- Resiliency assessments
