Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for an experienced Electrician's Mate for a long-term contract based on a Water Treatment Plant in Basingstoke. Rate of Pay is £17.00 per hour (All hours worked Monday to Friday).
The Role
- Working alongside qualified Industrial Electricians, you will assist with heavy industrial electrical installations, including:
- Assisting with the installation of cable containment systems
- Installing cable tray, trunking and ladder rack
- Cable pulling and glanding
- Assisting with the installation and termination of electrical equipment
- Working from engineering drawings and site plans
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on heavy industrial projects is essential.
- Experience working on water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
- ECS Card is essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Good understanding of electrical installation practices.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
- Evidence of relevant industrial experience must be clearly shown on your CV.
