Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for an experienced Electrician's Mate for a long-term contract based on a Water Treatment Plant in Basingstoke. Rate of Pay is £17.00 per hour (All hours worked Monday to Friday).

The Role

  • Working alongside qualified Industrial Electricians, you will assist with heavy industrial electrical installations, including:
    • Assisting with the installation of cable containment systems
    • Installing cable tray, trunking and ladder rack
    • Cable pulling and glanding
    • Assisting with the installation and termination of electrical equipment
    • Working from engineering drawings and site plans
    • Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
    • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on heavy industrial projects is essential.
  • Experience working on water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
  • ECS Card is essential.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of electrical installation practices.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
  • Evidence of relevant industrial experience must be clearly shown on your CV.
