Introduction

You will learn MIG and TIG Welding in the Works.

You will be part of a nine-person fabrication team, including two senior welders.

What You'll Do

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings to accurately mark out, cut, drill and prepare sheet and heavy steel components.
  • Safely operating MIG/MAG, TIG welding equipment.
  • Conducting routine quality checks on finished components while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Training Outcome

As you gain experience, progression opportunities include team leader role or a transition into specialised fitting/fabrication.
