ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the Content team, providing clear direction, prioritisation and support to Content Executives.
- Ensure content workloads are planned effectively, balancing NPD, campaign and BAU requirements.
- Support the development of Content Executives through coaching, feedback and hands-on leadership.
- Bring energy, pace and accountability to content delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
NPD & Content Planning
- Take ownership of content planning for NPD, ensuring launches are delivered on time and aligned with wider marketing priorities.
- Lead the Activity Planner, driving clarity across Marketing and Product teams on key focuses, launches and critical dates.
- Work closely with Product, Buying and Marketing stakeholders to manage critical paths and flag risks early.
Content Creation & Delivery
- Lead on photoshoot briefing for NPD and campaigns, ensuring content meets both ECOM and brand storytelling requirements.
- Oversee photography selection, retouching and accuracy, maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
- Own and manage the copy briefing process, working with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent, on-brand messaging.
- Ensure content output aligns with brand guidelines, seasonal direction and commercial objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Brand, Digital, Product and external agencies to ensure content supports wider marketing activity.
- Act as a key point of contact for content-related queries, decisions and prioritisation.
- Continuously look for ways to improve processes, workflows and efficiency within the Content team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years’ experience in a content, marketing or brand role (retail or eCommerce preferred).
- Experience working with product-led content or NPD processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders and bring clarity to complex projects.
- Creative eye with a strong understanding of brand, visual content and copy.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Sheets.
DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL)
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- Experience in a multi-channel retail environment.
- Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Experience working with external agencies (creative, photography or copy).
