About Us: DUSK.com is a fast-growing e-commerce brand in the home and garden sector, known for innovation and high-quality products. We’re looking for a skilled, data-driven Marketing Analyst to support our Marketing Department.
Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive growth across Marketing channels. The position focuses on day to day reporting, deep-dive performance analysis, and building dashboards that enable faster, smarter decision making. You will work closely with the full Marketing department to build key dashboards that support marketing analysis for the wider team, as well as pulling together ad hoc data analysis and findings to support broader business decisions. This role requires a highly analytical individual with strong commercial awareness, comfortable working in a fast-paced, results focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis across marketing channels to identify performance drivers, trends, and optimisation opportunities. Analyse customer behaviour, conversion funnels, and performance metrics (e.g. ROAS, CAC, LTV). Support testing strategies through A/B test analysis and incrementality measurement. Provide ad hoc analysis to support wider business decisions.
- Data Summaries & Visualisation: Build and maintain clear, insightful dashboards (primarily in Power BI) to track performance and KPIs. Translate complex datasets into digestible insights via dashboards, reports, and presentation decks. Deliver regular (daily/weekly/monthly) reporting to stakeholders across the business. Continuously improve reporting efficiency and scalability.
- Channel Performance & Value Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of the role and value of each marketing channel. Evaluate channel effectiveness, attribution, and contribution to overall business performance. Support budget allocation and forecasting through data-backed insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal marketing teams to support campaign optimisation and strategic planning. Collaborate with external partners including econometrics agencies, digital attribution agencies, and ATL media buying agencies. Ensure alignment between data insights and broader business and marketing objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, preferably within an eCommerce or performance marketing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, with experience in building dashboards and data models.
- Experience working with BigQuery, Excel, and Looker Studio.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics.
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of how marketing drives business outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, able to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
