PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sets up and maintains a system of internal controls and the most effective control of the assets and revenues of the hotel.
- Reports financial and operational results on a timely basis.
- Maintains all accounting records of the hotel in accordance with the Dusit Group's prescribed manner.
- Prepares all reports and financial statements on a timely basis in accordance with the instructions prescribed by the Dusit Group.
- Complies with all Standards instruction and memorandums issued by the Dusit Group Executive Committee.
- Ensures compliance with all laws and fiscal regulations of the country of location affecting financial matters of the hotel, including obtaining proper permits and licenses for currency transfers.
- Safeguards all leases, contracts, and any other legal records and documents that may affect the financial status of the hotel.
- Ensures local tax matters, including income taxes, are properly handled.
- Approves all cash disbursements.
- Approves all allowances and adjustments, ensuring they are subsequently approved by the Manager.
- Ensures the periodical physical count and valuation of all food.
