About Durna
Durna is a boutique reformer Pilates studio built around thoughtful movement, beautiful spaces and genuine community. We're creating a calm, welcoming environment where every client feels seen, supported and challenged at the right level. Every class is intentionally small, allowing our instructors to coach with care and deliver an exceptional experience.
We're looking for an experienced Reformer Pilates Instructor to become one of our founding team members and help shape Durna from the very beginning.
The Role
You'll lead small group reformer classes, creating sessions that are engaging, technically excellent and welcoming for clients of all abilities. This role is ideal for someone who values quality over quantity and is excited by the opportunity to build something special.
What You'll Do
- Deliver exceptional reformer Pilates classes.
- Adapt exercises for different abilities, injuries and pregnancy where appropriate.
- Provide clear verbal cueing and thoughtful hands-on coaching.
- Build genuine relationships with members.
- Maintain a calm, professional and welcoming studio atmosphere.
- Ensure the studio is always presented to an exceptional standard.
- Help foster the Durna community and member experience.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- A recognised Reformer Pilates qualification.
- Strong anatomical knowledge.
- Excellent communication and cueing skills.
- Confidence teaching mixed-ability classes.
- A warm, professional and approachable manner.
- Great observational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for helping people move well.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience teaching private sessions.
- Pre & postnatal qualifications.
- Injury rehabilitation experience.
- A background in physiotherapy, sports therapy or dance.
