We’re working with a leading FinTech trading firm building a cutting-edge platform used by top-tier investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers globally. They’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong technical and financial markets exposure to join their growing team, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and client liaison.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in extending a cross-asset trading, risk, and operations platform, helping deliver new functionality across asset classes and supporting the evolution of modern capital markets infrastructure. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll:

  • Analyse and manage client requests (enhancements, issues, queries)
  • Work closely with Product teams to define and refine requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear, pragmatic technical specifications
  • Test analytical software features across asset classes
  • Contribute to automation and end-to-end testing coverage
  • Help improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Trading, risk, and post-trade workflows
  • Real-world problems across global financial institutions

Requirements

  • 1–5 years’ experience in a fintech, SaaS, financial markets or a trading environment
  • Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or similar (with financial exposure)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Rates / FX / Fixed Income products
  • Experience debugging object-oriented languages (C# is a plus)
