Overview

A top Crypto Quant fund (backed by Trad Fi) is looking to hire a Quantitative Researcher to spearhead their Execution research function.

This is a unique opportunity to be the first dedicated hire in this area, with the potential to shape and lead execution strategies and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead and define execution research efforts; establish and advance execution strategies and infrastructure.

Create and enhance execution strategies and optimize order placement to reduce slippage.

Develop market impact models and validate backtesting engines.

Collaborate with researchers to drive execution research initiatives.

Qualifications

2-8 years in quantitative trading and execution research (role-specific experience).

Strong background in market microstructure analysis and transaction cost analysis (TCA).

Proficiency in Python; C++ knowledge is a plus.
