Investment AI Solutions Manager

Location: Global / Hybrid (1 day per week remote)

We are seeking a senior leader to operate at the intersection of investment management and artificial intelligence, shaping the next generation of AI-powered capabilities for active investing. This is a rare opportunity to lead teams building agentic AI systems that materially enhance research, portfolio construction, risk analysis, and client engagement at institutional scale.

In this role, you will define and execute an AI strategy that augments human investors with autonomous systems that reason, plan, and act—accelerating insight generation, improving decision velocity, and unlocking new sources of alpha.

What You’ll Do

Lead Execution of Investment AI Strategy

• Build and lead a high-performing team delivering agentic AI solutions that understand financial context, retrieve domain knowledge, and produce research-grade outputs.
• Own a portfolio of AI initiatives across the investment lifecycle, including internal builds, pilots, and vendor integrations.
• Define product roadmaps, assess feasibility, and drive accountability in close partnership with investment, data, and technology stakeholders.
• Operate an agile delivery model that rapidly experiments, iterates, and scales successful outcomes.

Partner with Senior Investment Leadership

• Provide regular updates to senior leaders on progress, adoption, and business impact.
• Advise on AI feasibility, implementation strategies, and emerging capabilities relevant to investment management.
• Drive measurable efficiency gains and contribute to durable competitive advantage.
• Proactively identify execution risks and ensure delivery against key milestones.

Advance Next-Generation Investment Intelligence

• Reimagine investment workflows through AI-native design.
• Partner directly with analysts, portfolio managers, and investment leadership to shape high-impact AI use cases.
• Translate complex investment processes into intelligent, scalable agentic solutions.
• Help modernize the investment platform through close collaboration across investment, data science, and technology teams.

Lead Development of Agentic Systems

• Manage teams building agentic architectures that integrate LLMs, quantitative models, enterprise data pipelines, and real-time reasoning systems.
• Evolve team structures and capacity models to optimize delivery.
• Own safety, security, compliance, and observability of AI systems operating in production investment environments.
• Maintain deep awareness of emerging AI technologies, agentic patterns, and best practices.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics).
• Proven leadership experience spanning investment and technology teams.
• Proficiency in Python or R; hands-on familiarity with agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph).
• Strong prompt engineering skills and experience translating complex workflows into structured, agentic tasks.
• 7+ years of experience in investment management workflows (research, portfolio construction, trading, or related).
• Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Preferred

• Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery).
• Experience evaluating or integrating third-party data, research, or AI vendors.
• 15+ years in investment management workflows.
• Knowledge of advanced RAG and multi-agent systems.
• Relevant certifications (Databricks GenAI, SnowPro GenAI, AWS ML).
• CFA charterholder or active candidate.
