Responsibilities

  • Deliver coaching sessions to student athletes / teams to improve their performance
  • Evaluate performance and provide suitable feedback
  • Assess strengths and weaknesses in the student athlete’s/team’s performance and identifying areas for further development
  • Liaise with the relevant hiring manager to co‑ordinate support service provision for individual athletes, clubs and teams
  • Ensure that student athletes train and perform in line with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Where required, play for the Durham team in sport of expertise, as directed by the relevant head coach
