Those carrying out this work are likely to be allocated some of the below tasks only.
- Assist with outreach activities such as residential events for prospective students, usually during the Easter and Summer vacation period
- Assist with recruitment events such as open days, higher education fairs or taster sessions
- Act as a Discover Durham tour guide
- Assist with off site school/college visits
- Assist with online events
- Respond to questions from prospective students
- Respond to allocated messages via the UniBuddy online chat forum
- Escalate queries to supervision where appropriate
