The Role and the Department: Durham Chemistry is one of the very best UK chemistry departments with an outstanding reputation for excellence in teaching, research and employability of our students. Our research spans the range of organic, inorganic, physical and theoretical chemistry. The Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) is an funded joint venture between Newcastle and Durham Universities aiming to train and equip the next generation of scientists and produce cutting edge research at the interface between chemistry and medicine.
