The Role and the Department
The Learning and Teaching Administrator will assist the Learning and Teaching Manager and Coordinator in managing daily programme delivery, covering all aspects of the student lifecycle from enrolment to graduation.
They will collaborate with a team of professional staff to ensure an excellent student experience, working closely with the Department Manager, Learning and Teaching Manager, Coordinator, Director of Studies, and other stakeholders. The role involves supporting learning, teaching, student support, and assessment activities.
While based in the History Department, the postholder may also support colleagues across other departments in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities during peak periods, contributing to specific projects and tasks.
The History Department offers a supportive work environment with dedicated facilities at 43 North Bailey, including open-plan desks and breakout spaces. Hybrid working arrangements are available, allowing up to 40% remote work from Monday to Friday.
