- Your Impact
As the Patient Escort Supervisor, you will provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight to ensure the Patient Escort Services program consistently meets and exceeds service expectations.
You will serve as a key liaison between DECI staff and VA personnel, ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and compliance while fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

- Lead, coach, and mentor Patient Escorts and Dispatchers on assigned shifts.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing coordination, workflow management, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with VA requirements, DECI policies, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct performance observations, provide real-time coaching, and facilitate staff development.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, respect, and customer-focused service.
- Assist in resolving operational and personnel challenges while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
- Support Veterans by ensuring escort services are delivered efficiently, safely, and compassionately.

Qualifications
- Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Four (4) years of successful work experience in a related field.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Ability to qualify as a Paraprofessional or Associate Professional under Medicaid guidelines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital operations, transportation services, or human services.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Experience managing teams in a service-oriented environment.
