Overview

We are looking for a flexible individual who is capable of working under pressure to deadlines with drive and enthusiasm.

You will be responsible for providing programme and project management support to deliver key strategic programmes and projects of work on behalf of the service area.

What will I need?

You will need:

  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant programme or project management subject or in regeneration and development.
  • Experience of programme and project management development processes
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce and manage project management tools and techniques such as risk logs, issue logs, project plans, resource plans

Hybrid working

Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
