The Role
To ensure the smooth operation of a Fleet ICT motor vehicle parts department & systems.
What You’ll Do
- To identify, order parts and replenish stocks daily ensuring that minimum adequate stock levels and high vehicle availability are maintained.
- To arrange supply of parts and deliveries, for the Fleet workshop.
- Collection of vehicle parts as required from suppliers.
- To issue workshop Technicians with vehicle parts and supplies.
- To discuss parts supply requirements with Vehicle Technicians and Fleet Workshop Supervisors.
- To check invoices against original orders ensuring correct prices and discounts have been stated and recorded.
- To meet manufacturers and suppliers representatives in order to maintain an up to date product knowledge and cost effective parts provision.
What You’ll Bring
- City & Guilds Level III/ A Levels/or BTEC National in a relevant subject or an approved equivalent e.g. Parts & Distribution.
- At least one years technical experience.
- To possess a full, current driving licence or have access to a means of mobility support.
