Hours of Work: full time

The Head of Information Security will oversee the development and implementation of robust cyber and information security strategies across the organisation. You will lead initiatives to identify vulnerabilities, establish protective controls, and ensure compliance with legislation and standards. Supporting the Joint Chief Information Officer, you will provide expert guidance to minimise risks, enhance data security, and foster a security‑aware culture throughout the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Information Security, such as CISSP or CISM
  • Membership of a recognised professional body (desirable)
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in information security management within a large organisation
  • At least one year of management experience, leading teams and projects
  • A full, current UK driving licence or access to suitable mobility support
