We are looking for an Admin Supervisor and System Admin to join the Peterlee Police Station in County Durham, England.
Hours of Work: Full time.
Admin Supervisor and System Admin Duties: As an Admin Supervisor and System Admin, you will oversee the smooth operation of administrative functions within the department. Your role will include supervising staff, ensuring records are accurate and meet quality standards, providing system administration for departmental software, and offering guidance and support to staff on processes and legislation. You will also be instrumental in maintaining security and updates for our IT systems, contributing to an efficient and compliant work environment.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level III, A Levels or BTEC National qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years administrative experience, including drafting original correspondence, maintaining records, and processing invoices
- At least 3 months supervisory experience, demonstrating a supportive and helpful approach
- Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills
