Weβre adding a Field Service Engineer β Lifecycle Services to our Lifecycle Services Team! This role will install products and carry out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on customer sites. You will train customers on the use of the equipment and train the customer technicians on service and maintenance of the equipment. On occasion when at an installation project you may have to take the lead and supervise the installation. Our customers are based in the UK and abroad so the role involves travel. On occasion you may have to stay away for longer periods depending on the workload at the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to install and maintain all FMH conveyors range of products.
- Travel to customer sites to maintain other products within the Duravant Group whenever necessary.
- Train customers on the use of equipment.
- Train customer technicians on service and maintenance of the equipment.
- Carry out all jobs in a safe way, ensuring adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
- Complete detailed site work reports on pause or completion of works.
- Ensure compliance with all associated standards.
- Complete expenses reporting in accordance with the company procedures.
- Maintain a record of time worked, time for travel, etc.
- Strive to exhibit Duravant Core Values.
Requirements:
- Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation.
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Full driving licence.
The role can be physically demanding with heavy lifting, pulling, and pushing and being on your feet for a good proportion of the day. This role includes working inside a boom and therefore within a confined space.
