THE ROLE
The WA South Boddington team are expanding opportunities for a Project Engineer to come into the local Boddington team, to oversee and champion remediation projects across Mining Environments. This is a DIDO (Drive-In-Drive-Out) roster from Perth, working with the Boddington local team. Rosters are flexible; 9:5, 5:2, 4:3 or a 5:2 week followed by a 4:3 week.
- Ensure compliance with Duratec’s project management systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of assigned project scope, delivering quality, safety, and timely outcomes.
- Provide and seek technical advice on design, construction methods, program changes, and repairs.
- Manage commercial aspects of work areas, representing Duratec positively on site.
- Monitor budgets, identify risks/opportunities, and support overall project profitability.
- Maintain site, plant, and equipment to a safe, tidy, and fully operational standard.
- Lead contract administration, resource planning, invoicing, and accurate monthly forecasting.
About You
- 2-5 years of experience in relevant industry, mining industry preferred.
- General Visual Inspection experience – highly desirable.
- Ability to drive in and out of Boddington for required roster.
- Strong understanding of quality documentation and compliance requirements (ITPs, inspections, QA records).
- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site delivery effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
