We’re looking for an experienced Dig Team to carry out water meter installations and reinstatements across Bournemouth. You’ll be working on planned metering projects, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality at all times. This role offers long-term work, excellent weekly hours, and all transport and fuel provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake excavation and reinstatement works for meter installation.
  • Install and replace domestic and commercial water meters to specification.
  • Work safely in accordance with street works and utility regulations.
  • Ensure all reinstatement meets required standards (backfill, compaction, surfacing).
  • Complete job sheets, record meter details, and liaise with supervisors as needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and the company van to high standards.

Requirements

  • EUSR SHEA Water Card
  • Street Works (NRSWA) Operative – minimum units 1–6
  • Proven experience in dig work / utilities reinstatement / metering
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Ability to work to targets and manage workloads efficiently
