We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a busy manufacturing team. The role involves welding and assembling metal components to a high standard, ensuring all work meets required quality specifications and safety standards within a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out MIG welding on a range of metal components, including mild and stainless steel.
  • Work from engineering drawings, jigs, and specifications to complete tasks accurately.
  • Ensure all welds meet quality standards and production requirements.
  • Perform basic inspections and identify any defects or issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • MIG welding qualification (e.g. Level 2, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Desirable

  • Experience working within automotive or metal fabrication industries.
  • Previous experience working with tubular or exhaust-type components.
  • Additional welding certifications (e.g. coded welding) would be advantageous.

Additional Information

Shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday.
