We are committed to delivering high-quality water and wastewater services to communities across the South West of England. As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and efficient water management, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Leak Detection Operatives.
As a Leak Detection Operative, you will play a crucial role in identifying and locating water leaks within our network using a correlator device or a listening stick. You will contribute to the overall efficiency and sustainability of our water supply systems, helping to minimize water loss and ensure the delivery of reliable water services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Utilise state-of-the-art leak detection equipment to identify and locate water leaks in our network.
- Conduct surveys and inspections of water infrastructure to proactively identify potential issues.
- Record and report accurate data on leak locations, severity, and other relevant information.
- Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines to ensure personal and team well-being.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in leak detection or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday.
