We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer. You will provide technical support on a range of software and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across various IT domains within our organisation. This role involves on-site attendance to deliver user IT support (2nd and 3rd Line), assisting users with day-to-day queries, and actively participating in IT projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site first point of contact for IT hardware and software support.
- Manage firewall configurations and ensure their effective operation.
- Provide support for laptops, including Mac devices.
- Administer and manage user accounts and MS Office 365 profiles.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using systematic troubleshooting skills.
- Perform daily system checks to maintain optimal performance.
- Resolve complex problems and issues in a timely manner based on priorities.
- Create user guides and documentation.
- Assist both on-site and remote users with their IT needs (Driving Licence required)
- Monitor and maintain networks and hardware resources.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of IT support experience.
- Previous experience in supporting on-site hardware and software.
- Firewall management expertise.
- Familiarity with OneDrive, Egnyte, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving IT issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of Mac devices and support.
- Experience with user account management and MS Office 365 profiles.
- Ability to create user guides and documentation.
- Understanding of network monitoring and hardware resource maintenance.

Hours :
Full Time / Permanent. 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday (1 hour for lunch)
