We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Field Technician to join our team. You’ll be the face of the Lead Replacement Scheme, engaging directly with households to explain the benefits of the scheme and secure customer sign-ups. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong communication and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knock on doors and engage with homeowners to explain the Lead Replacement Scheme.
- Secure customer sign-ups to the scheme.
- Conduct property assessments including taking photographs and recording key measurements.
- Assess and recommend suitable traffic management plans for each location.
- Carry out pressure and flow tests; potentially perform meter swaps when required.
- Provide accurate field reports and communicate findings to the wider team.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Streetworks certification (NRSWA).
- EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) registration.
- Water industry experience is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and travelling to various sites.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
