We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee delivery across multiple water industry projects and workstreams. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while meeting programme deadlines and budget targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across concurrent projects/workstreams
- Lead field teams and subcontractors to deliver work safely and efficiently
- Plan resources, schedules, and activities to meet delivery targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Monitor performance, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and customers, providing regular updates
Requirements
- Experience in operations or project management within water, utilities, or infrastructure
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction, Utilities, or Operations Management (desirable, not essential)
- Health & Safety certification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH)
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good understanding of health & safety and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
