About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) to join our team on a replacement water mains contract across the Surrey and Sussex region. This is a key front-facing role, ensuring that customers, residents, and businesses are fully informed and supported before, during, and after essential water mains replacement works.
You will act as the main point of contact between the site teams, the public, and key stakeholders — helping to maintain our reputation for high-quality delivery, strong community relationships, and exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide timely and accurate information about project activities, schedules, and potential impacts.
- Handle and resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Coordinate and attend public meetings, site visits, and community engagement sessions.

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within utilities, construction, highways, or similar infrastructure sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Highly organised with attention to detail and good record-keeping skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM or reporting systems.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the Surrey / Sussex region.
