Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, the 1st Line Customer Support Engineer is responsible for providing professional and effective technical support to customers across the UK. Based at the Tankersley (Barnsley) site, this role is key to maintaining and enhancing Dura-ID's growth and reputation by supporting customers with technical issues relating to existing hardware and software, as well as advising on best-fit new printing and labelling solutions.

Ideally, this recruit will have done IT/Software support in a previous role. Experience of colour printers, thermal printers and labelling software would be beneficial but not essential. An ability to be patient, calm and professional under pressure is a necessity when dealing with end user problems. Our candidate will have the ability to give confidence that we will deal with the issue in a timely manner and get them back up and running as soon as possible.

The candidate must be presentable and professional with a can-do attitude, whether speaking to clients on the phone or face to face during client visits.
