Job Purpose: As People & Culture Administrator, you will be part of the team responsible for following and delivering administrative tasks and activities in relation to Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Welfare and Recognition. You'll be expected to support the drive for consistent deployment of 'PRIDE' values across the workforce, encouraging staff and teams to develop themselves in line with their life ambitions and to meet their full potential. Help maintaining an inclusive culture that embraces and celebrates the differences of our people, their experiences, backgrounds, and ways of thinking, linking all department services uniting our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Department Inbox Management: Overseeing and responding to employee and business enquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of concerns for all staff.
  • Your People: Managing all aspects of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management (appraisal reviews, RTWs, Welfare, Pay Reviews/Promotions) and career progression for Grade 1 to Grade 5 office staff.
  • Department Services: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of employment law requirements, internal company policies and guidelines, employee handbook provisions, and staff benefits across all service areas, ensuring effective communication and alignment within the team.
  • Document Management: Creating, updating, and maintaining departmental documents to effectively support employees under your care.
  • Survey & Performance Appraisal Administration: Managing all assigned quarterly staff surveys and performance appraisals, gathering and sharing feedback with stakeholders, and tracking, analysing, and communicating relevant KPIs.
  • Employee Well‐being Initiatives: Supporting and actively participating in the execution of wellness initiatives that promote employee engagement and well‐being.
  • Employee Engagement Activities: Coordinating Big Bite Friday & Seasonal Treat WOW initiatives across sites, ensuring employee satisfaction, accommodating dietary needs, and managing budgets effectively.
  • Event Coordination & Employee Experience: Supporting and executing assigned tasks for social events, recognition programs, team‐building exercises, seasonal celebrations, and weekly employee engagement activities.
  • Absence Management: Leading the administration and maintenance of absence management systems.
  • HR Digital Platform: Overseeing project administration for HR/People digital platforms, including system testing, implementation, guideline creation, fact sheet development, and issue resolution.
  • DSE Assessments & Employee Well‐being: Conducting Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments for all staff, collecting feedback, identifying necessary actions, and implementing measures to support employee welfare.
  • Housekeeping: Responsible for overseeing the general upkeep and availability of consumables within the People & Culture (P&C) office and all other designated areas under our care.
  • Reception Cover: Including staggered breaks to support Reception/Admin and covering reception duties every Friday. Holiday cover for any Reception/Admin tasks that cannot wait, e.g., procurement, hospitality, post, etc.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Performing other tasks and assignments as directed by the People & Culture Management Team.

Happy to have both an active and office-based role (events, stock replenishment on 3 premises-all close by, within 5 minutes walk of each other). Highly organised, and loves admin. Can prioritise effectively and able to manage a varied workload under tight time constraints. Excellent Communicator, both written and verbal. High professional standards, strong work ethic and positive attitude. Calm and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment. Thorough and meticulous with excellent attention to detail.
