We are looking for a Field Service Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems in the field, and traveling across the UK to support critical water treatment infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work independently while making a direct impact on ensuring the reliability and performance of cutting-edge ultrafiltration systems.
What You'll Do
- Travel to customer sites across the UK to perform maintenance, repairs, and replacement of ultrafiltration modules.
- Perform ultrafiltration module repair and replacement activities while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site.
- Work independently as well as alongside fellow DuPont technicians on larger projects.
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and exceptional service.
- Prepare clear and accurate service reports following customer visits.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and service teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Manage travel arrangements and project expenses responsibly while adhering to work order budgets.
- Represent a globally recognized technology leader in the water treatment industry.
What We're Looking For
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK (up to 90%), including occasional weekend travel.
- Proficiency with Windows-based laptops and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Ability to safely lift up to 15 kg during a typical workday.
- CSCS Card and/or DOMS Water Hygiene Certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage travel expenses responsibly, including accommodation, transportation, and meals.
- Commitment to maintaining accurate records, vehicle logs, and equipment maintenance documentation.
