Manager, Marketing Excellence acts as a critical liaison between the COE steering team, IT project teams, external consultants, and end users. This role ensures seamless execution of process mapping, tool design, testing, training, communications, and deployment, meeting both project timelines and quality standards. It also owns key components of the training infrastructure such as academy content management, cohort scheduling, learner tracking, internal communications, and digital enablement coordination. The position is a pathway into strategic B2B marketing, leveraging strong project management, communication, and transformation capabilities through hands‑on execution of COE initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and delivery of training curricula aligned to the marketing maturity model—from foundational awareness to advanced practitioner learning.
  • Create scalable, on‑demand training content (including AI video tools such as Synthesia) across core marketing capability areas.
  • Develop playbooks, job aids, and quick‑reference materials to enable application of key frameworks (e.g., value proposition, pricing, segmentation, sales plays).
  • Design and manage the training academy ecosystem (LMS/iLearn/SharePoint), including content structure, tracking, and certification pathways.

Program Execution & Enablement

  • Coordinate global training rollouts, including cohort scheduling, session planning, enrollment, and completion tracking.
  • Monitor training engagement and provide visibility to stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and communication tools supporting training programs, AI tool deployment, and change adoption.
  • Manage and maintain COE enablement platforms (SharePoint, Teams, iLearn, AI tool environments).

AI Tools & Transformation

  • Lead adoption roadmap for AI-enabled tools and training programs to drive sustained engagement and business impact.
  • Partner with IT and external consultants on development, testing, and deployment of AI marketing tools.
  • Translate business requirements and training content into technical specifications and user stories.
  • Lead process mapping and future‑state workflow design supported by AI capabilities.
  • Manage UAT cycles, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and deployment readiness.

Communications & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and manage internal communications, including newsletters, updates, and enablement materials.
  • Reinforce awareness, adoption, and usage of marketing tools and resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement based on stakeholder feedback, learner insights, and evolving business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing operations, commercial excellence, technology, or customer support (B2B industrial or specialty chemicals preferred).
  • Strong project management experience across cross‑functional, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into deliverables or technical specifications.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.
  • High learning agility, curiosity, and growth mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), AI tools (Copilot, Claude, agents), and project management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of marketing processes (market segmentation, value proposition development, demand generation, brand management).
  • Experience supporting capability‑building initiatives (training programs, process improvement, maturity models).
