Hybrid role (3-4 days per week in the office, in Bedford). I’m working with a well-established, but rapidly growing, people-focused organisation (Technical services / £ multi-million t/o) to recruit a proactive and highly organised HR Assistant to join the HR team. The HR team is very collaborative and supportive and has a great reputation within the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue a career in HR within a professional and fast-paced environment, where you’ll work across the full employee lifecycle.

HR Assistant - The Role: As HR Assistant, you’ll provide essential administrative support to the HR function and wider business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly—from recruitment and onboarding through to employee changes and leavers. You’ll also act as a first point of contact for HR queries, helping deliver a responsive and professional HR service across the organisation.

HR Assistant – Key Responsibilities:

  • New starter administration
  • Onboarding and inductions
  • Recruitment administration
  • HR system / Ticketing / and HR inbox management maintenance
  • Employee changes / Leavers administration
  • Employee lifecycle administration (absence, payroll updates, probation, ER support)
