About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Unreal Engine Generalist to join our team and help us bring our latest projects to life. As an Unreal Engine Generalist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality environments that meet the needs of our clients and directors. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and has a passion for using Unreal Engine to create immersive experiences.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our team of artists and technicians to create environments that meet the needs of our clients and directors
- Use your knowledge of Unreal Engine to find and use off-the-shelf assets from places like Megascans/Kitbash3D
- Build environments using those assets to match a concept
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of lighting
- On-set experience (or, general understanding of a shoot) to aid in making decisions with your lead and client
- Experience with hard-body animation needed
- Character rigging and animation experience is a bonus
- Be able to create bespoke assets from scratch is a bonus
- Experience creating FX elements for use in UE is a bonus
Qualifications
- A strong understanding of Unreal Engine and its capabilities
- Experience in creating high-quality environments in Unreal Engine
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things
