Dupe VFX offers remote, hybrid, or in-studio work options in London or Stockholm. You must reside and have work authorisation without limitations for the UK or EU.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a digital matte painter, you will be responsible for creating photoreal environments.

Using multiple tools and techniques, you will employ your artistic, observational and technical skills to create realistic digital environments for live-action visual effects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating photorealistic digital matte paintings
  • Creating projection setups in Nuke to be passed to compositing
  • Look development and shot concepting
  • Sourcing and generating photographic material
  • Communication and time management

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Photoshop
  • Nuke
  • 2.5D projections
  • Projection transformations
  • Photobashing

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Photography
  • 3D modelling and layout (Maya, Blender)
  • Procedural 3D environments (Houdini, Clarisse)
