We are looking for an operationally strong and resourceful marketing professional to scale the Duolingo English Test across the UK and ANZ. This role is focused on growing acceptance and usage among universities, governments, and key education stakeholders, with events and partnerships as a primary growth lever. You will design and run high-impact engagement programs that move institutions from awareness to adoption, while building scalable systems that support long-term growth.

  • Lead the B2B regional marketing strategy for institutional audiences across the UK, Europe and ANZ, with clear ownership of adoption, engagement, and pipeline metrics.
  • Partner closely with the Institutional Engagement team to align marketing efforts with institutional outreach and conversion goals.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive events strategy including university roadshows, partner events, webinars, and industry conferences.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks that can scale across markets while maintaining high quality execution.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to deliver cohesive, high‑quality messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Define success metrics for campaigns, evaluate performance, and inform future strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10+ years of marketing experience, with strong exposure to B2B or institutional marketing.
  • Experience partnering closely with sales or business development teams to drive pipeline and adoption.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to connect marketing efforts to measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to build structure and processes in ambiguous environments.
  • Comfort operating in fast‑paced, cross‑functional, global teams.
  • Strong understanding of the UK and/or ANZ education landscape, especially universities and study abroad pathways.
  • Experience working in international education, EdTech, or a related sector is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience designing and executing events or field marketing programs that drive engagement and conversion.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external audiences.
  • Experience with marketing automation for lead generation.
  • Experience leading marketing in two‑sided markets.
  • A passion for education, culture, and language.
  • Familiarity with the study abroad ecosystem and English proficiency testing landscape.
  • Working proficiency in more than one language.
