About the role... You will...
- Own the strategy, execution, and outcomes for the Music area, including leading 0-to-1 product development.
- Build and scale multiple teams (and managers), organizing for clarity of ownership, high velocity, and longâterm maintainability.
- Set a high bar for engineering quality, including reliability, scalability, observability, and pragmatic refactoring of critical systems.
- Partner with senior crossâfunctional leaders to coâdevelop roadmaps, OKRs, and success metrics; communicate progress and tradeoffs with transparency.
- Attract, develop, and retain top engineering talent; identify emerging leaders and coach managers and senior ICs to grow their scope and impact.
- Guide teams to run effective experiments and make dataâinformed decisions that move key business metrics.

- Proven track record as an Engineering Director (or equivalent scope) leading multiple teams/managers to ship complex, highâimpact systems repeatedly.
- Experience in building products from idea to successful multiâteam projects.
- Strong technical judgment across one or more domains, with the ability to coach managers and senior ICs through ambiguous, critical decisions.
- Experience establishing high engineering standards for quality, reliability, and longâterm maintainability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective at communicating up, down, and across functions.
