Training experience. n You'll be responsible for delivering technical training to both employees and customers, helping people understand how to operate, programme, maintain and repair specialist machinery safely and effectively. \n The role is based in Peterborough with regular UK-wide travel, so you'll need to be comfortable working with different teams and customers across the country. \n What You'll Be Doing \n \n Design and deliver structured technical training programmes for employees and customers \n Deliver training from operator level through to technical/maintenance level \n Train individuals on the operation, programming, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of specialist machinery \n Develop engaging training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, manuals, handouts and eLearning \n Act as a technical subject matter expert, particularly around electrical, hydraulic, digital and telematics systems \n Provide technical advice and support to internal teams and customers \n Identify training requirements and work with management to develop appropriate programmes \n Keep training materials and content up to date with new products, technology and innovations \n Coordinate training schedules and maintain accurate training and certification records \n Support warranty processes from a technical perspective \n Coordinate external training, including CPC and statutory training \n Ensure training programmes meet City & Guilds quality assurance standards \n \n About You \n We're looking for someone who already has professional training experience combined with a strong technical background. \n You'll ideally have: \n \n Proven experience working as a Technical Trainer, Product Trainer, Engineering Trainer or similar \n A background in specialist vehicles, agricultural machinery, plant, engineering or related equipment \n Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems \n Hands-on experience with diagnostics, maintenance and repair \n Experience delivering training to both operators and technical personnel \n The ability to create clear, engaging and technically accurate training materials \n Strong communication and presentation skills \n Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office \n Excellent organisation and attention to detail \n The flexibility and willingness to undertake regular UK-wide travel \n \n Formal qualifications in vehicle, agricultural or engineering equipment, electrical/hydraulic disciplines or a recognised teaching/training qualification would be advantageous. \n This is a varied role combining technical expertise, training, customer interaction and UK-wide travel, with a strong benefits package including a company car. \
