We are working with a long-established, independent security and electrical contractor with a strong reputation across London for delivering high-quality CCTV and integrated security solutions. With nearly 50 years in the industry, the business has grown steadily and continues to win long-term public sector and commercial contracts.
They are now looking for an experienced CCTV & Security Systems Engineer to join their team, working across a mix of modern IP systems and legacy analogue CCTV networks, including town centre surveillance systems.
As our CCTV Security Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of CCTV systems
- Working across IP and analogue CCTV platforms
- Fault finding and technical diagnosis on complex systems
- Working on large-scale public space and town centre CCTV networks
- Configuration and maintenance of wireless links (e.g. Siklu, Cambium)
- Working with leading CCTV systems including Axis, Bosch and integrated control platforms
- Field-based role across London boroughs
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
- Proven experience in CCTV installation, commissioning and fault finding
- Strong knowledge of IP CCTV systems (analogue experience also beneficial)
- Experience with large-scale or public space CCTV systems desirable
- Familiarity with Axis / Bosch / integrated CCTV platforms advantageous
- Ability to work independently on live sites
- Full UK driving licence
- Eligible for security clearance
- Comfortable working at height (MEWPs, ladders, towers)
