We are a highly regarded, market-leading consultancy within the professional services sector. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead the expansion of their accountancy partner network and wider strategic referral channels. This is a senior leadership role offering significant influence over revenue growth and commercial strategy.

You'll play a key role in developing high-value partnerships across the accountancy and professional services market, while also leading and driving the performance of an internal sales function. This position is ideal for an ambitious, hands-on sales leader who thrives on building senior relationships, winning business personally, and leading high-performing teams.

As our Head of Sales you will:

  • Build, develop, and grow relationships with accountancy firms across the UK, establishing strong networks with Managing Partners, Tax Partners, and senior stakeholders
  • Increase referral activity and revenue from existing partnerships while identifying and securing new accountancy firm relationships
  • Develop and expand strategic referral and intermediary channels, including corporate finance firms, independent advisers, legal and professional services firms, and private client networks
  • Design and deliver commercially attractive partnership propositions to drive long-term growth
  • Lead, manage, and inspire the sales function, embedding clear KPIs, accountability, and high-performance standards
  • Drive sales activity, team performance, and revenue delivery, fostering a results-focused and high-growth culture
  • Personally win and convert high-value opportunities while maintaining a strong, well-managed sales pipeline
  • Deliver against individual and team revenue targets, driving commercial outcomes across multiple service offerings
  • Ensure accurate CRM management, pipeline reporting, and forecasting discipline (e.g. HubSpot)
  • Maintain robust sales processes and operational rigour across the function
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and operational teams to align commercial strategy and execution
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and partnership engagement activities to enhance brand presence and lead generation

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven track record in a senior sales, business development, or commercial leadership role
  • Background within accountancy, tax, financial advisory, or professional services
  • Strong experience developing referral, intermediary, or partner-led networks
  • Demonstrated success in both personal revenue generation and team leadership
  • Experience improving and scaling sales team performance
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and closing ability
  • Confident engaging senior decision-makers
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and target-focused
  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting capability
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot
